		BLUEGRASS TRADITION BAND Award Winning Bluegrass Three time Winners of the Galax Fiddlers' Convention BLUEGRASS TRADITION BAND FADED MEMORIES The band called Bluegrass Tradition lives up to its name. This successful bluegrass band has been a part of the Virginia/Carolina region for over twenty years. From its beginning as "The Boyd Bluegrass Tradition" featuring Posy Boyd and family, this unique band has enjoyed a notable mix of family and friends. In addition to members of the original Boyd family, Bluegrass Tradition has featured musicians over the years such as Sammy Shelor (Lonesome River Band--IBMA International Banjo Champion), John Bowman (Doyle Lawson, Alison Krauss, The Isaccs), Ronald Inscore (Lew Reid Band, Savanah Road, Kenny & Amanda Smith Band) Jimmy Edmonds (multi award winning fiddler and musical director of the famous Carolina Opry at Myrtle Beach) and Wesley Easter (award winning banjo player and owner/engineer of Eastwood Recording Studios). The current ensemble lives up to both the music and family traditions.
